Holy Spirit Mass
On August 9, 2024, the Michaelinian family gathered at the Immaculate Conception Parish church to commence the new academic year with a solemn Mass of the Holy Spirit. The celebration, officiated by our School President, Rev. Fr. Leonardo O. Quizada, Jr., DCT, began with a procession of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In his homily, Fr. Quizada challenged the Michaelinians to live out the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to each one in the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. These gifts, he said, are to be put to good use so they will bear much fruit in everyday life.
Following the homily, our teaching personnel renewed their Profession of Faith and took the Oath of Fidelity. The liturgy culminated with the entire Michaelinian community reciting the Michaelinian Pledge, reaffirming our dedication to upholding the ideals and core values of SMCCI.
May the Holy Spirit guide us throughout the academic year ahead!
